Our Window Cleaning Process
We follow the same detailed process on every job — whether it’s a small bungalow in west Medford or a two-story home in Eagle Point. No shortcuts. No “good enough.” Just a consistent, professional clean every time.

A lot of window cleaners will wipe down your glass and call it a job. We think that’s not enough. A window cleaning that skips the screens, ignores the tracks, or rushes through the exterior leaves your home looking half-done — and often means the glass gets dirty faster because the surrounding grime wasn’t addressed.
Here’s exactly what we do, step by step, on every clean. We publish this because we’re proud of how we work — and because you deserve to know what you’re getting before anyone shows up at your door.
Arrival & Walk-Through — Before We Touch Anything
We walk the property before starting — checking window count and placement, identifying high-access windows, inspecting screen condition, and noting anything needing extra attention like hard water staining or construction residue.
This takes 5–10 minutes and it’s not optional. It’s what allows us to quote accurately, avoid surprises, and make sure we have the right tools for your property.
Setup & Property Protection
Before any water or tools touch anything, we set up properly: patio furniture or planters are moved, drop cloths go on interior sills and floors, and ladders are properly footed so they can’t damage siding, stucco, or landscaping.
Southern Oregon has a lot of decorative rock gardens and river-rock landscaping right up against homes. We’re careful around all of it.
Screen Removal & Cleaning
Every removable screen comes off before we touch the glass. We brush off dry debris and wash the mesh and frame. Screens trap pollen, dust, smoke particulates (common in the Rogue Valley during fire season), and outdoor grime. Leaving them dirty while cleaning the glass underneath defeats half the purpose.
We keep track of which screen belongs to which window — every time. They go back to their original spots, properly seated. If a screen needs repair, we offer screen repair on the same visit.
Exterior Glass — Scrub, Squeegee, Detail
Each pane gets scrubbed with a strip washer — this is what actually loosens grime, hard water mineral deposits, and oxidized residue. Then squeegeed in overlapping strokes. Then the edges and corners are detailed by hand with a lint-free microfiber cloth — no drips, no runs, no missed corners.
For stubborn hard water staining from irrigation systems (very common in Medford), we use appropriate treatments to break down the mineral bond without scratching the glass.
Interior Glass — Same Standard, No Exceptions
Interior windows get the exact same treatment — scrub, squeegee, detail. We’re just as thorough inside. We work carefully around curtains, blinds, furniture, and interior decor near the windows. Drop cloths stay in place. We move slowly and deliberately inside a home.
Some companies skip or rush the interior because it’s more work. We don’t. Half-clean windows are not clean windows.
Sills & Track Cleaning
Window tracks are miniature dirt traps — dead insects, debris through the screen mesh, moisture that leaves mineral deposits. We vacuum tracks and wipe them down so the whole window unit looks clean, not just the glass.
Sills get wiped too. A spotless pane above a dusty, grime-caked sill is not a finished job. We treat the window as one complete unit.
Final Inspection, Screen Reinstall & Cleanup
When we think we’re done, we’re not done yet. We walk through every window one more time — checking for any streaks, drips, smears, or missed spots. If anything’s there, it gets touched up before we leave.
Screens go back in. Furniture goes back. Drop cloths come up. We leave your property exactly as we found it — just with dramatically cleaner windows.
